Cavaletti Poles- Agility Set

Cavaletti poles are often used to train agility dogs to jump, but they can also be used for therapeutic exercise for dogs with arthritis.  When used in this manner, we do not recommend dogs jumping over them. Instead, CARE recommends setting up the poles as wide apart as your dog is tall, then walking your dog over them. Start with the height low and work up as your dog improves. This can help work on range of motion in the joints, strength, endurance and proprioception. Check with your veterinarian to ensure these are appropriate for your dog.
