Laurie McCauley

Dr. Laurie McCauley is a board-certified expert in Canine Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation, widely recognized as a pioneer in the field. She founded the first veterinary rehabilitation clinic, designed the original underwater treadmill for dogs, and served on the faculty of the Canine Rehabilitation Institute for 14 years.

Certified in acupuncture, chiropractic, and rehab therapy, Dr. McCauley is an international lecturer and published author. She was named the 2011 Iams AARV Award of Excellence recipient and 2015 AHVMA Holistic Practitioner of the Year.

She now leads Optimum Pet Vitality, an online learning platform for pet parents and pros, and runs Red Tail Rehab, a mobile practice in North Carolina.
