Pain Management
Arthritis is the most common cause of chronic pain in dogs. By the time their pain has reached chronic levels, it becomes harder to treat and manage.
Working with your veterinarian on a pain management plan – before your dog has chronic pain – is one of the best things you can do to help them enjoy a good quality of life.
In this section, you’ll learn how to identify early, hard-to-detect signs of pain, as well as different ways of managing that pain. The earlier you begin treating your dog’s pain, the more time they can stay happy, active, and by your side!
